Annual Fee A yearly fee charged for maintaining a credit card account. Most credit card companies have no annual fee.

Annual Percentage Rate (APR) A charge on an outstanding balance on your credit card calculated on an annual basis. This is the rate that will be applied after an introductory APR offer period has expired.
